The questions worth asking.
How does MPH DriveLog connect to my Tesla?
You sign in with your Tesla account and approve access. No OBD dongles, no adapters, no extra hardware.
Which Tesla models are supported?
Model S, 3, X, Y and Cybertruck. Cars from 2018 onwards work.
Will this satisfy Skatteverket?
Yes. Reports include everything the Swedish Tax Agency requires for an approved logbook, plus an audit trail showing nothing has been altered.
How do classification rules work?
You set conditions like Mon to Fri, 7 to 17 is business, or trips between home and office are commute. Rules run in priority order. You can always reclassify a single trip manually.
What if the car is offline?
Trips are stored in the car and sync back as soon as it reconnects. Nothing is lost.
Can multiple drivers share one vehicle?
Yes. Each trip can be assigned to a driver manually or by pattern matching. Business plans support roles and cost centers.
What does MPH DriveLog cost?
EUR 9 per vehicle and month, VAT included. One plan, no add-ons. Cancel anytime. The first 24 hours are free.
Do trips to and from work count as business trips?
No. Trips between home and your regular workplace count as commute, not business, under Swedish tax rules. Trips to clients, suppliers, meetings or training are business. Set the rule once and forget about it.
Can I export the log to PDF for the tax agency?
Yes. Export PDF or CSV with every trip, odometer reading, purpose and driver. The audit trail goes with it so any reviewer can verify nothing has been changed after the fact.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export your full history before cancelling. After cancellation trip data is deleted as described in our privacy policy. We never sell your data and we do not use it for anything outside running the service.
Does it work with a leased or company Tesla?
Owned, leased or company car, it does not matter. DriveLog connects through your Tesla account. Whoever has the car on that account can read the trips.
How long are my trips kept?
Trips are kept as long as your account is active. Swedish tax law requires that you can show a logbook up to six years back. We keep the history for as long as you need it.
Do I need to install anything in the car?
No. No OBD dongle, no cable, nothing inside the car. Everything runs through the Tesla account. You sign in, approve access, and the trips start logging themselves.
What if I forget to classify a trip?
Trips that have not been auto-classified stay in a list and remind you. You can classify them whenever, even weeks later. Nothing disappears.
